S.I.S. (“we”, “us”) provides a hosted invoicing and bookkeeping tool for Malaysian freelance videographers and small studios (“you”). By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these Terms, the Refund Policy below, and our Privacy Policy. If you sign up on behalf of a studio, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. These Terms are issued in English; the Chinese version is a courtesy translation — if they differ, the English version governs.
The service
S.I.S. helps you create invoices, track clients, payments and expenses, and back up your documents. It is a calculation and record-keeping platform only — not an accounting firm, tax agent, auditor or law firm — and nothing it produces is accounting, tax or legal advice. Every figure is computed from data you enter. Invoices generated here are your business documents; they are not LHDN MyInvois e-Invoice submissions unless expressly stated as such in the product.
Verify everything — use a qualified accountant
All totals, reports, summaries and tax-related figures produced by S.I.S. are for your reference only. Before you rely on any figure — issuing an invoice, closing your books, filing anything with LHDN, or making any business decision — you must check it again yourself AND have it calculated or reviewed by a qualified accountant or licensed tax agent. Do not treat any S.I.S. output as final without that double confirmation.
You accept that figures can be wrong — through data entry, settings, rounding or software defects — and that the duty to detect and correct errors sits entirely with you. S.I.S. does not warrant that any calculation is accurate, complete or compliant, and does not check your numbers for you.
Your account & acceptable use
Keep your sign-in credentials safe — you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate business details; invoices carry what you enter.
You must not use S.I.S. to store or issue unlawful, fraudulent or infringing content; upload malware; attempt to breach another studio's data; resell or reverse-engineer the service; or abuse AI features beyond honest business use (fair-use limits apply).
We may throttle or suspend accounts engaged in abuse or activity that endangers other users, after notice where practicable.
Subscription: a yearly recurring fee in Ringgit Malaysia (processed by Stripe), with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time; your access continues to the end of the paid period and then stops. After cancellation we keep your account data so you can come back — or you can ask us to delete it.
Refunds
You may request a refund within 3 days of a payment. After day 3, payments are non-refundable — but you can cancel or downgrade at any time, and the change takes effect at the end of the current billing period (you keep full access until then).
Where a refund is approved, the amount returned is what you paid minus the value already used: days of the cycle consumed, and third-party costs incurred for you (such as payment processing fees).
Promotional or referral credits are never refundable as cash. They only make a billing period cheaper or free — they have no cash value.
Your content — your clients, invoices, uploaded documents and business details — belongs to you. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what appears on your invoices.
Your clients' personal data (PDPA)
Personal data you upload about your clients (names, contacts, addresses) makes you the “data user” under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. You confirm you collected that data lawfully and have the right to store and process it in S.I.S.
We process your clients' data only on your instructions, as your processor, to provide the service — we never contact your clients, market to them, or use their data for our own purposes. Each of us complies with the PDPA 2010, including the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024.
What we don’t do: take payments from your clients, take a cut of your invoices, sell your data, or run ads on your documents. Your clients pay you directly.
We may suspend the service for maintenance with prior notice, or to comply with Malaysian law, and we are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
No warranties · no compensation
The service is provided strictly “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted, error-free availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, S.I.S. pays no compensation and accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential — including lost profits or business, lost, corrupted or inaccurate data, missed deadlines, and any penalties, fines or surcharges imposed by LHDN or any other authority. This applies regardless of the cause: calculation errors, downtime, data issues, or anything else.
If a court of competent jurisdiction determines that some liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims combined is capped at the subscription fees you actually paid to S.I.S. in the 12 months before the first claim arose. You agree to indemnify S.I.S. against third-party claims arising from your content, your invoices or your breach of these Terms.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use — with prior notice where practicable. You may close your account at any time; export your data first (CSV / PDF in-app). After closure we delete personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, except records we are legally required to keep.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and the version date at the top will change. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance; returning subscribers re-confirm at their next checkout.
Disputes are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any claim must be brought in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
Your data is portable. You can export your invoices and client list at any time (CSV / PDF in-app), and you can ask us to permanently delete your account and its data. We will never hold your business records hostage.
